About Us:
Roads to Recovery is a parent founded non-profit organization serving families in the greater Dayton area who are impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders. We are an Autism Resource Center that offers an individualized 1:1 applied behavior analysis (ABA) program that is tailored to students' specific goals, interests, and growth in mind.
Since first opening its doors in 2009, Roads to Recovery has grown tremendously! We have two center-based locations in Fairborn, Ohio. We serve students from all over the Greater Dayton area, including, but not limited to: Springfield, Dayton, Fairborn, Beavercreek, Vandalia, and more.
Our Mission:
Our hope is for Roads to Recovery to embody our collective experiences, resources, and hope for those who continue to be affected by autism.
Our Services:
Roads offers services for those who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We offer center-based programs through the Autism Scholarship Program through The Ohio Department of Education. For more information about this scholarship, please click here. To qualify for this scholarship your child must have an Autism diagnosis and have a current IEP & ETR through your school district.
In-Center Schedule:
Our in center location fosters a natural environment that motivates students and provides social opportunities with peers. We are open five days a week and year round to provide the maximum success to our students. Our morning sessions (typically ages 9 and younger) is from 8:15am - 12:15pm. Our afternoon session (typically ages 9 and older) is from 12:45pm - 4:45pm. In-home, school aide, and private tutoring are considered on a case by case basis.
Applied Behavior Analysis:
ABA is an evidence based method of instruction combining the principles of learning and motivation. It is individualized one-to-one instruction by specially trained Instructional Aides or Registered Behavior Technicians, supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). BCBA's create a program with your child in mind, host bimonthly team meetings, send out weekly updates, correspond with your child's school district for quarterly progress reports and annual IEP renewals.
